MGfair will be held in the practice room instead of the lounge starting in June (June 29), and officials from small and medium-sized agencies and trainees will also be invited, and it will also serve as Acopia's end-of-month evaluation.

 We also conduct local workshops (dance/vocal) in Japan and select and train ISKA mainly through MGfair.

The MG project is in progress concurrently with a non-fiction story novel.

[국제학생K아티스트] 

ISKA : International Students K Artist
Asia Hope Camp Organization, an international exchange non-profit private organization, is conducting a KPOP joint audition for foreign students from various universities. This initiative draws from the experience of the Ministry of Justice's Social Integration Program Operating Agency (2020) and the Korean Language Education Center (Lifelong Education Center) of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education. After passing the final exam, you will engage in ISKA activities within the scope permitted as ‘activities other than those permitted under the status of residence permit’ until you graduate from your respective universities.

※ISKA: International Students K-Artist.

1. Participation and residency requirements are as follows:

・Participation Qualifications:

　■ Male and female international students aged 18 to 25 holding D4 or D2 visas.

・Residency Status After Selection:

　■ Attending the affiliated university is a prerequisite and is limited to cases where ‘activities other than those permitted under the status of residence permit’ are permitted.

・Activity Period: Until graduation from the current university.

・Activity Schedule: Participants are expected to practice and be active on 　　

　weekends without affecting their academic commitments.

4. Selection Categories:

The audition will evaluate participants in singing, dance, and acting categories.

Participation in the audition is free, and those who pass the final round must obtain permission to engage in activities other than those permitted by the qualifications of residence. Each company invests in the trainee course and training fees are exempted. 

(서울=연합뉴스) 이상서 기자 이건희 인턴기자 = 지난달 28일 오후 5시께 서울 마포구 동교동의 한 건물에서는 다양한 국적의 청소년 20여 명이 발성과 안무를 연습하는 소리로 떠들썩했다. 4층 건물 2개 층에 마련된 연습실마다 방탄소년단(BTS)과 블랙핑크 등 유명 한국 아이돌그룹의 노래들이 흘러나왔다.

비영리 국제교류단체인 아시아희망캠프기구가 진행하는 아이돌 연습생 양성프로그램인 '아코피아 아카데미' 오디션을 거쳐 K팝 스타의 꿈을 키워가는 이들이 연습에 매진하는 이날 현장에는 열정과 활기가 넘쳤다.

연습실에서 만난 에밀리 치아라 에바 라임바흐(21) 씨도 고향인 독일 보훔에서 K팝 가수의 꿈을 품고 지난해 10월 한국을 찾았다고 했다.

그는 고향에서 '화랑'과 '신입사관 구해령' 등 한국 사극 드라마에 푹 빠져 살았고, BTS 콘서트도 관람했다. 한국 친구를 사귀고, 한국어도 꾸준히 공부했다. 그 후 인터넷 검색을 통해 아코피아 아카데미를 알게 됐고, 1년여간 아르바이트를 해서 모은 돈을 털어 한국에 왔다.

그는 "나이가 많고 재능이 부족하다는 평을 들었지만 그래도 괜찮다"며 "아이돌로 데뷔하지 못하더라도, 시간이 흘러 지금을 돌이켜 봤을 때 '최선을 다해 살았다'고 자평할 수 있을 만큼 열심히 하겠다"고 말했다.

◇ '한국서 데뷔 꿈꿔요'…'예술·연예' 비자 10년새 3배 증가

K팝이 세계적인 인기를 끌고 넷플릭스 등 온라인동영상서비스(OTT) 업계에서도 K드라마 소비가 확산하는 등 한국 문화의 세계적 위상이 높아지면서 제2의 방탄소년단이나 블랙핑크 등을 꿈꾸며 한국을 찾는 외국인들이 늘고 있다.

법무부가 국회입법조사처에 제출한 자료에 따르면 출입국관리법에 따라 예술흥행(E6) 비자를 받아 음악, 미술, 문학 등 예술 활동을 하면서 국내에 체류하는 외국인은 올해 1월 기준 3천883명에 이른다.
