August 2017 International Work Camp in Muju

15 Koreans and 15 Foreigners join together for a memorable experience for 3 nights 4 days in Korea!

What is a Work Camp?

It is a series of activities wherein young volunteers work together to do rural service work.

At the work camp, you not only help communities flourish, you also gain exposure to foreign cultures and make new friends from all over the world! 

Let's take a look at the work camp life!


 

 

※ Participation fee is inclusive of: accommodation and meals for 3 nights 4 days, transportation expenses during the work camp, cultural experiences and activities, drinks, snacks and certificate issuance.

※ Round trip flight tickets to Korea, transportation from the airport to Jeonju, and personal expenses are not included. The participant is responsible for booking and paying for flight tickets as well as applying for travel documents.

※ Accommodation and expenses prior and after the camp are not included in the participation fee.

※ The meeting place is at Jeonju. ACOPIA will provide a comprehensive guide to the transfers from Incheon International Airport all the way to Jeonju. Participant can also meet with ACOPIA staff and go to Jeonju together. Please book a flight that will arrive in Seoul at least a day before the camp.

 

[Important Information]   

※ The program is not funded. The participant will pay for the participation fee and round trip tickets to Korea.

※ Participants are responsible for applying for a tourist visa to South Korea.

※ ACOPIA does not sponsor nor provide an invitation letter for visa application.

►Information about Korea Work Camp◄

 

- The minimum age to participate is 16 years old.

- Participants will always be accompanied by members of our staff.

- All programs include a cultural exchange program, tours and volunteering activities.

- No special qualifications are required as long as you are positive, open-minded, interested in learning about a different culture.

- Each participant is responsible for bringing his/her own pocket money.

- Participants are responsible for their own insurance (check your insurance in case of emergency).

- A deposit of 100 US dollars should be paid within 72 hours after we respond to your application.

3. We will send you the deposit information. Deposit of 100 US Dollars should be sent within 72 hours. Participation will only be confirmed once deposit has been made. 

4. Participation fee is not refundable. 

5. Remaining fee for the camp should be paid in full prior to arrival in Korea.

 

*Bank transfer fees or Paypal fees are shouldered by the participant.

- Gochujang making

- Cooking Tteokbokki for lunch

- Volunteer activity
