I really liked the multicultural classroom, for me it was a difficult experience because I’m not used to speaking in front of many people so it was new for me but it was definitely a good one. During this ACOPIA’s multicultural class, Marie Bardoula - one of our numerous French interns - introduced the part of France where she was born and raised, the Nord-Pas-de-Calais. She also talked about the stereotypes about French people and gave some tips on how to behave while visiting France !
Our intern Manon DESEINE hosted ACOPIA’s first multicultural class to introduce French culture. She decided to talk about the geography of France in general and not to be only focused on Paris, the main spot for tourists in France.
It’s our Belgian intern Lisa's turn to introduce her country. In her lecture, she shared reasons on why we should go or not go to Belgium. After seeing the beautiful places, learning the culture, and tasting Belgian chocolate, we were definitely convinced to go to Belgium!
Thomas Schobert successfully hosted Asia Hope Camp Organization's first multicultural classroom lecture. It was held last February 18, 2017 at Asia Hope Camp Organization's office. Students from different countries attended the lecture and shared insights about each other's countries and experiences.
